- Me, CA resident, recently returned from a 26 month Peace Corps stint in Tanzania, which is now another place I call home. My partner remains living and working in Tanzania, while our baby is working on being born in late February. Amidst efforts to unite the family, he sweetly tells me he wants to be with me, to hold my hand, watch my belly grow, and carry water for me... With gratitude to my family and friends for their love and action, I dream and laugh about what it will be like to reunite and raise a family between two worlds, and plan for the future.
